As I was working on the sequel to The Light Whispered, I realized I would need to make a cover for it, and I returned to the cover of my first book for ideas. I found none. In fact I was not inspired by or terribly interested in that cover at all. Having already published it, I shook my head and wondered if it was too late... No. No it was not. That said, I spent the next several days getting ideas, sketching in class, (While still listening!) and throwing things together in PhotoShop. I'm rather pleased with the result. And, because the whole purpose of this expedition was to create a cover for the sequel, here's that too. Let me know what you think in the comments! This cover will be official in the next several days. Once again, those with eBooks can automatically update, those who've already purchased a physical edition of the book can send me a message if they would like a free eBook, and new paperbacks should be ready to roll out soon. -J. Absolutely adore the covers. You're right. The old one wasn't particularly inspiring, but this one is. I find it's always best to evoke with imagery, rather than directly communicate.
