The last two months of writing are here, and starting today I will be making Light and Shadow: A Tale of Averelia available in a chapter-by-chapter format. I'll be spending the next one to two months finalizing the book, and as chapters are finished I will send them out to all those interested in reading them. Of course - there's a slight catch. Writing takes time. With my current job-situation I have a somewhat flexible schedule and can set my own writing schedule, but I still need to put bread on the table for my wife and myself - I hope you can understand. If I can earn enough cash through writing, I can spend more of my time on finalizing and polishing my book and less time at work! Still, I have no delusions of grandeur, and I understand that money is tight and books are a luxury. So, here's the deal I'm willing to make. If you go over to the donate page and make a donation of at least $2.50 I will add you to the mailing list that will receive chapter-by-chapter updates - that's a full copy of the final draft of my book for only $2.50! But wait! There's more! For every 25 people who make a donation of at least $2.50, I will give away a copy of the final draft of the book in signed paper-back format to a random person on the chapter-by-chapter mailing list. You could get the final copy of the book for only $2.50! And that's not all! If you don't have $2.50 to spare, but you still want in on the deal, like and share my Facebook post for a chance to be put on the list as well! For every 20 shares, I'll add one person to the list! And! If you have a little more than $2.50, I have a deal for you as well! The single highest donation above $2.50 will receive a signed paper-back copy of the novel as well. In the event of a tie, a winner will be picked at random. Take a chance! These next two months are going to be crazy! I hope you decide to spend a few hours of them with me in Averelia! -J.
